If you’re strolling around or doing errands in Orleans, do not miss the Rowley Gallery. Elizabeth Rowley’s establishment, itself, is a work of art, featuring high and airy ceilings, tasteful interior design, and lots of both natural light and spotlighting to showcase a diverse and impressive array of work.
We were particularly enchanted by Mary Giamarino’s breathtaking Cape Impressionist works, which capture the unique, natural architectural beauty of the Lower Cape. Ms. Giamarino imbues her landscapes and still lifes with her signature luminescence and aura of tranquility. Even a seasoned aficionado of the Outer Cape is likely to fall in love with the area all over again upon viewing her interpretations.
We’re looking forward to revisiting the gallery and observing Mary and several other brilliant artists as they create “plein air” pieces in the Rowley Gallery’s lovely gardens.
